Expenses come out of donations…even ‘dedicated’ donations. Which means United Way is using a portion of your dedicated donation to pay employees to funnel other donations to areas you may not like.

Does United Way still give money to Planned Parenthood? If so, everyone check your donations to United Way and ensure your donations are directed to specific causes/agencies, and not to United Way’s general fund because they used to divide up some of their money so a portion went to Planned Parenthood.

Douglas: the TD was a decent paper back in the ’80s and early ’90s. Circulation on a home football gameday (vs. Miami or UF, and when FSU won) sometimes approached 80,000.
They jumped the shark on the very day Lorraine Branham was installed as executive editor.
If you want to shock yourself, Google her name to find out where she is now, long after her firing.

The Tallahassee Democrat being guilty of writing Half-Truths, I am sorry to say. is not news.

The truth is that this isan example of the Bob Gabordi School of Sloppy Journalism and it still exist at the TD.
