Oh really? They were “concerned”? I wonder where the “concern” came from. Must have been out of true worry for the community and definitely not for their bottom line.

“On Saturday, TR received calls from concerned citizens and restaurateurs about the Friday night event which seems to validate previous concerns.”

Calls from which citizens? I think I remember reading in US weekly that “sources close to [insert celebrity here] said…”

“TR was told that a practice being adopted by a number of local restaurants is to hire promoters that have extensive social media contacts in the community and can deliver large crowds ‘on demand.'”

Who told TR (i.e. Steve Stewart)? Back up your sources.

“The events are financially successful because they focus on the sale of alcohol. TR could find no marketing of the Edison event that mentioned anything about food.”

Ridiculous. It’s a restaurant, of course there’s food. The promoter can advertise whatever they want and in this case they chose to focus on the drink specials. People know they serve food.

I don’t know what Steve Stewart has against Adam Corey or why he chooses to be so petty about the Edison, but this is another example of Tallahassee Reports’ ridiculous “reporting”. Steve, go find something else to complain about. You’ve beaten this dead horse to a pulp.

You would think some attorney(s)would sue this bunch for 1) overreaching their authority 2) failing to maintain the rules of law 3) discrimination in the process of awarding bids / contracts, much less fraud on many levels. But maybe the joke about attorneys being licensed to steal is not a joke after all.
Too many city taxpayers don’t vote because they don’t support either candidate. We now have a prime is a prime example of what happens when you don’t vote. I would hope those who say they are going to hold these feckless commissioners and the corrupt riddled – yet headed for a bigger, brighter political future – mayor accountable at the ballot box. In the meantime, do not be surprised at anything else you hear about this dastardly group. The rest of the story has yet to be told.
