If I’m fortunate enough to be chosen by Tallahassee voters I will not be accepting any income outside of the standard commissioner compensation. My wife and I maintain five real estate interests. The only ones within Leon County are our primary residence and a single-family rental. Outside of Leon County we own a residential lot in Punta Gorda, and hold mortgages on properties in Panama City Beach and Mobile, Alabama. Our retirement portfolio consists of traditional stocks, bonds and mutual funds and is professionally managed.

I assume he means as a commissioner, not as a business owner. Mr. Lotane, if you read this would you publicly state that, if elected, your company, or any company in which you own interests, will not be a city contractor so long as you serve?
