Being born in 1950s Florida and growing up in the “Old South” with half of my extended family in then-rural Ocala and Central Florida, plus living here in Tally for 12 years, I can attest that I and many other whites lived and worked with many African-Americans (why not just “Americans”? None of us has the power to affect our skin color, so why this hyphenated nonsense?) and we got along well as fellow human beings. Here in Tally, I worked in a large Florida state agency. None of us cared about “who was what color”, and in many cases African-Americans were in management positions and were my bosses. Not once did I hear or observe (even in private) any problem with that – we only related to each other as fellow employees and managers, and any judgements were based solely on a person’s character and ability at their job. I’d submit that the Dem-Socialist party has a huge stake in perpetuating and promoting the myth of embedded “Racism in America” to gin up resentment and hatred to get votes – a sad way of promoting any cause – by inciting racial hatred and envy rather than having any actual goals to achieve for the very people you pretend to represent. The DS’s have a constant need to throw gasoline on an imaginary “racism” fire that long ago burned out for the most part. DS’s always appeal to the lower of humanity’s emotions to get votes: envy, hatred, and superficial differences (skin color) between groups. It’s extremely sad that FSU pandered to someone who sells this “pervasive racism” myth. Such are poverty-pimps, along with Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson, who are well paid by the DNC to keep blacks angry and on the Dem-Socialist plantation – the very ones who deliberately keep blacks in poverty and in terrible schools, all by design. Do you ever wonder why after 50 years of voting for Democrats, blacks in America are still largely in ghetto conditions and have abysmal schools? Dem-Socialists have a vested interest in keeping them there.

He was just stirring up crap. Not one word of the racism expressed towards southern whites or the mindless hatred of Southern history that resulted in the capitulation to campus commies and the removal of the Francis W Eppes Statue- founder of FSU. His crime: being a wealthy white southerner before the Civil War.
