Johnson + Johnson, Instagram, Cadillac, Coca-Cola, Vimeo, Barbie, Kleenex Kellog’s, Ray-Ban, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals, Betty Crocker, New York Yankees baseball, John Hancock insurance logos are still with us among many other things, and in cursive. It’s kind of like asking why teach the typewriter keyboard when Alexa will do it all or soon will.

Why would people need to learn cursive writing? That time can better be spent on learning math, science, history, technology, economics, etc. Not a dead writing style.

WOW what a shock at how far behind my new classmates were. Doubtless DeSantis had a taste of this too and his goal would be to up the ante in education. Today we’re graduating students who can’t read, NEVER studied the Constitution, find the capital of Germany on a map, read a single line of “Hamlet” or balance a checkbook. But they have a diploma! And more’s the pity.

Kudos Governor, all I ask is that “hands off!” of the NEA and others trying to “fix” the private schools. If a student fails, they repeat that grade until the “get it”. “Social promotions” are counterproductive.

No SSG, no Chief of Staff, No communications director, no legislative affairs director, several other senior leadership vacancies.
