I am sooooo disappointed in FSU, not only for this email that was sent out to faculty and staff … and then of course retracted as I assumed they would … but also, the college of social work for not WORKING ON GETTING OUR INTERNSHIPS this summer. We were basically told, “oh well, guess you need to register for the fall.” I was supposed to graduate in three weeks with my MSW and NEEDED to have a job by August … Now, I’m sitting here on July 6, still in limbo as these people hold my future in their hands with zero insight on what they are going to “allow” us to do. I am 45 years old … I do not need to be told if I am able to do face to face clinical practice based on some upper-level official who doesn’t have to worry about how their damn mortgage will get paid. I’ve spent entirely too much money at this shitty university … I am so ready for it to be over!!!!

It does not take long on a home computer to realize that professors from other Universities are often more competent or engaging than the ones assigned you by a local school. Similarly to the early internet heydey of competing browsers and purchasing websites – competition is/was a brutal selector.

Boeing laid off 63,000 paid employees in Seattle alone in the early 70s. They had no business so they could not pay them. I will suffer adapting to the Tallahassee reduced lifestyle when the FSU customers (a/k/a “students”) elect to spend their tuition $$ elsewhere. On a reduced budget FSU will only be able to keep 1 in 10 professors to keep the landscape and zero “administrators”.

My FSU department was requiring only the staff to return while the faculty and dean continued to stay safe and work remotely. The captain was getting on the first life boat!

Their first anti family order showed the dark heart about the size of a dried up prune which all leftists have in their chest.
You workers are the great un washed to the administration. They are so much better than you knuckle dragging likely Trump voters. Heck in their elite minds you dirty workers cost Hillary the election.
On the + side they do have a great retirement plan.
