Average of new daily cases in Leon County, May 24-June 24: 9
Total number of new cases: 284

Leon County mask ordinance in effect: June 25

Average of new daily cases in Leon County July 6-August 6: 93 (over 10x increase)
Total number of new cases: 2,688 (just under 10x increase)

If every you publish another article about the hospitals it would be interesting to find out the average hospital stay.

I look at this website every day. I live in Broward County and we don’t get stats like this – so everyone please be grateful. For the first time, we are able to see the number of people who are hospitalized, not just the total admissions since it started. I also appreciate that this paper published information about how each hospital is approaching the COVID patients. This is what I call good reporting, responsible reporting to the people in your area. Thank you.
