STUDIES? You have been talking about these items for a few YEARS now. You want to improved Midtown commercial corridor with expanded pedestrian walkways, enhanced lighting, landscaping, safety enhancements and other streetscaping improvements? There are already Sidewalks from Monroe to Seventh. There is plenty of Landscaping that looks fine to me, There is only ONE Business that is an eye sore and that is the closed Shell Station at 5 Points. As far as safe Lighting is concerned, I guess you mean like those Gas Flame Street Lights on 5th Avenue beside the Whatabuger are doing a great job. One has not been working for MONTHS. How many $Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars did you spend on digging up 5th Ave. replacing the Road Bed, adding a wide Side Walk with the Red Brick Wal, Parking, 8 Bank Electrical Outlets at every other Parking Space, brick Stamping the new Pavement on only 3/4’s of the Road, Painting the Brick Pattern Warm Water Drinking Fountain’s and Bike Racks? All of which was not needed because I only see a few cars using that road each time I am at Whataburger and it is usually those leaving Whataburger. Stop wasting our Money.

Clean up the trash on the side of the roads.

Clean up the gateway to the airport.

Make the Boulos Corporation landscape their project on Apalachee Parkway. Is this a city or county project?

Clean up the rental car agencies inside at the airport.

Fine lawn care services that spew grass in public roadways as you drive by.

Step up the landscaping on public roadways Tallahassee is one of the worst landscaped cities in Florida. Shame on city and county officials who have neglected this area.

This deterioration of Tallahassee was most noticeable under Gillum and Dailey has done nothing to move forward and it only has further deteriorated.

Please primary the current mayor.

Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency< Florida Hwy Dept and every single Tallahassee City Commissioner & Leon County Commissioner are bound & determined to make Thomasville Road one-way South thru midtown.

They want this for their buds in engineering firms and real estate developers outside the city center. They are all bought & paid for.

For over 60 years the city of Dallas, Texas has craved to expand 6 Lane Mockingbird Lane thru 2 lane Highland Park near the center of Dallas. Highland Park has always resisted up to this day. By resisting, the value of HP homes have increased 1000%.

Why hasn’t anyone published anything about the shameful 3-minute speaking restriction the new Blueprint chair hastily enacted?

These people are out of control with our sales tax dollars. NE Gateway, Airport Gateway and FSU Convention Center are all ongoing travesties. Do the puff pieces they pay you for, but let’s have something real now and again too.

Leave so called ‘Midtown’ alone. Before it was deemed ‘Midtown’ it did just fine without our gov. interfering…at least in the 63 years I have lived there.
