Rocky is squirming over the new DOH rule. Thank you Desantis! Did LCSB ever take action on the mask mandate, or just vote to NOT overturn Rocky?

I think Rocky owns this one by himself and can repeal it the same way he issued it – with a Sunday afternoon social media video and an email. Why do you need more than 29 hours to do that, Rocky?

I reached out to the board for comment yesterday and was told no policy change is anticipated, locally.
The sad thing is that we’ve spent all this time without pursuing better protective options for truly medically vulnerable students. Instead, we’ve relied on false measures of unregulated, untested apparatuses with no efficacy standards for the particle size range of concern. Want to know how to fix this accommodation disparity? Do this.

All of this could have been handled better. All Governor DeSantis needed to say was, “We are opening the Schools back up to In Person Learning and we are leaving it up to the Parents to decided if they want their Kids to wear a Mask”. and left it at that. The second the word “Mandate” was uttered, it went down hill fast from there. They would do better to get them to was their hands often and wipe down their Desks.

I am glad to hear that neither Administrative Law Judges nor educational bureaucrats will be making health care decisions for other people’s children but rather parents will have the sole discretion in making health care decisions for their own children.

I give credit to Administrative Law Judge Brian Newman for having the integrity to dismiss the case. But I wonder why in the world would he have any jurisdiction to do anything other than to dismiss this case? What country are we living in? I want my country back.

You better get an ambulance to Rocky’s when he learns that he’s not in charge of our children’s medical decisions.
