This morning around 7:15 on The Morning Show our resident never Trumper busted down the closet wall likeThe KoolAid Guy and went all out on a hate filled vitriol rant against Trump. It was so over the top I could not even focus on what set Preston off.
America may need a fearless fighter like Trump to save The Republic. My unsolicited advice to all the Never Trumpers out there is to just calm down and keep your powder dry for the real fight.
We should have no expectation that DeSantis will even run for President as a green light to justify venting our pent up political frustrations on Trump.
Rush would tell us to pay attention to who said what about that. And here it is: DeSantis – actually he has said nothing about running for anything other than Govornor of Florida. News Media (mainly leftist) has been drumming up the totality of a DeSantis run and playing it over and over again. Dont be a leftist tool.
So to sum it up we really should have zero expectation DeSantis will run. If not DeSantis than whoever opposes Trump will be an empty Republican suit perfectly content with being the irrelevant gracefull party of loosers and kowtowers to the left – pro tip: think Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, or some similar RINO. You should be able to review what was said on the podcast if interested.
Preston I love you and we can totally agree to disagree on this subject.

On a national level the dynamics are clear. Where the emphasis is on counting every (legal) vote the Republicans won. Where it’s on counting every ballot, the Democrats did.

The country needs common sense voter laws like those in Florida. But with Democrats controlling 2/3 of the federal government it’s not going to happen. As such, the Republicans are going to have to mirror the Democrats efforts to get ballots to their voters and hope they can match the emotion in the Democrat base. But with both parties catering to people that aren’t predisposed to vote, can we ever again trust that the results are legitimate?

Why is “white” in lower-case and the other races in upper-case? This is unacceptable.

“Republicans have won every gubernatorial race since 1998 and have fully controlled the Legislature since 1996.”

And yet, it seems like Republicans have only been in full control the last four years.
