The bill to block Chinese encroachment on technology is laudible, but I have never seen one that was effective.

In ’86 I was working for a company with business around the world. One of their customers was China with an installation on an oil field in Northeast China. While I was there, the Chinese figured out how to “steal” the licensed software and use it elsewhere. They we so proud of themself that they put a congratulatory sign on the front steps, honoring the citizen that had “saved” the Chinese $60,000 in licensing costs. I brought a picture of that sign home, but couldn’t find anyone that was even remotely interested. It sure seemed odd at the time that products with such strict export controls was copied and stolen by the Chinese but nobody cared….

Good luck with that as long as Biden and his Administration are in Office.

TR has a bias against Matlow which they have every right to and on some things they are right, but it erases credibility when they ignore out and out corruption by DAILEY, DWC, and No Clouds Over Tallahassee, liar about accepting bundled contributions, and keeping Tallahassee from doing a nationwide search for a city manager to end the Maddox era corruption, Curtis.

Sooner or later, “…what’s wrong with the city…” is how politicians get rich. Throw tax dollars at the problem through political cronies and get some tax dollars back in the form of political contribution.
