Dailey casually mentioned hiring 20 new cops as we are experiencing budget issues. Do you know how expensive that would be?

$1.2 million a year in salaries alone, much more with benefits and pension we all pay for. TPD doesn’t use what it has already efficiently at all. How about no crooked PBA Union tax raise and consolidate TPD. We are tax enough already!

The rural bus stop lighting needs more explanation. If it’s rural, there may not be power nearby. Or do they plan on installing solar lighting? How do you control the on/off cycle on solar lighting?

116 bn is about 6000 taxes for every resident. On top of about 20k for federal taxes. Then there’s local taxes, and all sorts of fees. What’s left for me? Do less govt.

Why can’t we just put a light at bus stops that need them? Seems like a pretty simple concept, which is an anathema to politicians like Caban. They aren’t happy until seven layers of redundant red tape are added to everything. While they spend the second half of their careers running against red tape!

Just put up a light at stops that need them. Spend a few mornings driving around to all the bus stops and put a light at the ones that aren’t well lit. It ain’t rocket science it shouldn’t require a “procedure” and an army of staff complete with meetings, recommendations, and congratulatory. awards!

ALL Elected Offices should have Term Limits.

$25,000 for Bus Stop Lighting? I am assuming that there is a Grant some where being used because $25K doesn’t seem nearly enough.
