This seems to be a somewhat feckless “after-the-fact” placating measure. Typically, if someone has already “brandished” the weapon, they’re only seconds away from using it. My guess is staff will hear a gun shot before the program is through its cycle of reviewing camera footage.

Preventing the weapon from getting inside the school in the first place should be the focus. Leave it to government to waste tax dollars to play with a new toy. As always, one will never find a solution to a problem one refuses to recognize.

1. The word Brandished – now I did not not Google the word but the term “Brandished” to the best of my recall means that the shooter has already pulled the pistol out and is likely waiving it around with a finger on the trigger. I dont see that stage of a warning (even with using the ultra techie and ultra cool initials A. I.) as being as helpfull as running the little “G’s” thru a metal detector and taking the guns away each morning.
2. $30,000. seems kind of a small investment on a life saving safety equiptment system. Is there more money to be spent in the future?
3. And finally how are vendor’s showing gratitude to Rocky these days? I would imagine the old HAA HAA method of payment was abandoned years ago soon after it was reported on.
