					<description><![CDATA[@John -- the healthcare system suffers from the same problem as so many other programs in this country, that is too much &quot;free money&quot;.  My grandmother went into the hospital with terminal cancer on June 1, 1963.  She didn&#039;t leave the hospital alive and passed away on Aug 1, 1963.  The hospital bill, hand written on a pad similar to what a restaurant uses, was for less than $1,000.  61 nights in the hospital and the bill was under a grand.  

$1,000 won&#039;t cover the cost of you spending an hour in the emergency room today.  Now, we have all this free money in the system and nobody can afford their own health care.]]></description>
