PREDICTION: The contract WILL be approved with the usual 3/2 vote. Porter and Matlow in opposition with the “Three Musketeers,” Dailey, Richardson and Cox, approving.

The “fix” is always in. Follow the money folks…….just follow the money.

Why isn’t the local police department handling this? You can drive up and down North Monroe street almost any time you wish and not see a TPD vehicle. You can watch the lights at all of the major intersections and watch red light runners. The downtown intersections where people stop and block the intersection are well known but the “do not block intersection” rules aren’t enforced.

But TPD is so cramped at the 7th st station that they need $135,000,000 for a new, larger set of offices. Perhaps if they were on the streets actually enforcing some of the traffic laws they wouldn’t be so cramped at their current facility.
