I was at the Debate Last Night, Donna Nyack did not show up but the other Three candidates for Seat 2 did as well as the Three for Seat 1. Very interesting.

Whatever a Tr commenter said about the once in a generation chance for a new, outside the Maddox Vancore Pittman Bethel era swamp city manager is right on!

Do we realize as a community the executive Manager has probably 10 times the power of Porter and Matlowe combined if not more? The bureaucrats actually run the show, flipping the elected body would create a healthy accountability mechanism.

TR: Why was Posting ended for the “Opinion: Will Conservatives Help Progressives Gain City Commission Majority?” article?

If anyone is interested, there will be a Debate/Forum for the City Commissioners at 6:00pm until 8:30pm today at the “Watson Temple Church at 665 West Brevard Street. It is at the corner of Brevard & Dewey. I will be there. The Leon County Races will be on July 9th and July 16th. and the School Board on July 23rd.

Correction: Pizza Boy and ethically-challenged Porter only voted against the increase because they knew the votes were there to pass it anyway. Also, they hope to fool ill-informed Independents, NPAs, and Conservative-leaning folks into believing they are fiscally conservative.

The Pro-Hamas Progressive Duo of Pizza-Boy and Porter are Alinsky acolytes with a Machiavellian bent. They both will lie, cheat, steal, and do and say anything to trick folks into giving them control.
