Matlow IS for the Firefighters.  He voted NO because he felt the deal could have been better if the negotiation process had been conducted properly.  He explained his position at the Commission Meeting this week.  As usual, the &quot;chosen three&quot; ripped him apart for his comments. 

Porter also thought the deal could have been better but voted YES to at least get the Firefighters something without dragging-out the three year contract like the city did with the one-year contract. 

P.S.  I enjoyed listening to your answers to the questions at the Live Candidate Forum. Your opponent has done nothing significant or helpful since being elected. She will just continue her empty performance if she wins.  You have my vote and I wish you luck.]]></description>
