This so called “green” energy is not renewable, causes devastating pollution, uses strip mining, is very expensive, is NOT reliable and cannot supply the electricity needed. As for climate change, yes, it exists the earth’s climate has been changing since it’s formation, human activity has absolutely nothing to do with it and we cannot change it by paying more taxes. Just stop it.

More competition, less government-dictated monopoly is the solution. It has worked elsewhere. But the “public” regulators, commissions, councils think the least bit of competition is “dog eat dog”… and impair their own power & finances. The monopolist CEOs are similar (“Oh, that’s fine for over there, but here, we must…”.)

As to “renewable”, are those rare earth mines “renewable”? What’s the state of the art for the nitty-gritty engineering? Show us the cost-benefit analyses instead of smiling models with text saying, “We’re all doomed. Doomed, if everyone doesn’t comply with our dictates!… Donate here.” I’ll take free-ranging debate of the details any day.

I’m moving to Jefferson County, the Progressives are hell bent on destroying Tallahassee. There aren’t enough people with the sense god gave a rock to prevent it from happening.
So, I’ll rent my homes to the wack jobs that still want to live here at a premium. Or, I’ll sell em and wash my hands of the entire problem. I am sick and tired of feeling like we are constantly under attack by stupid people in Leon County.

Isn’t it clear now why Matlow and Porter have been against Goad? Goad has deep roots in utilities. Using dark money to get Dot elected and remove Goad to sky rocket our utility bill and keep funneling progressive money to their reelection campaigns has been the end game. The final piece is Matlow running for mayor in 2 years.

I can tell you exactly how ‘renewable’ energy will affect electric rates. If you look at City of Tallahassee electric rates, the solar rate is higher than the standard rate. Fact…look it up if you don’t believe me.
