Dee, then what the hell is the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection all about? Prescribed fires is part of their job. It's not solely federal, either. It's a mix of State, Federal, and private land. These are easily researched bits of information. You're lying. Again.

Nobody said a prescribed burn in a neighborhood. That's just another of your silly straw man arguments. But, denying fuel to the fires BEFORE they reach a neighborhood does wonders.

If any level of CO2 lower than today's is good, then why not do everything possible to prevent all that acreage from going up in smoke? What about all the synthetic materials that have gone into the atmosphere when the homes burned?

Also, if we need lower levels, why is it actively pumped into greenhouses?

Your claim that any level is absurd. While the US has decreased emissions by around 10% China has increased around 200%. It's a drop in a bucket of what that would have been helpful in the Palisades neighborhood... You cannot claim that we have too much CO2 without knowing what the appropriate atmostpheric percentage is. You just can't.

Earnest p Worrell blames California politics. Lack of controlled burns, budget cuts. The fire fighting budget has actually increased over time. And a lack of controlled burns? In BLM and federal land, that's a federal responsibility. And no one does controlled burns in residential neighborhoods. The conditions that created these wildfires have not been experienced before, says almost all experts.

He disregards the entire world, then asks a ridiculous question. What is the desirable level of CO2? LMAO. Any level lower than today.

Dee, the wildfires were caused by eliminating one third of the LA fire department's operating budget as 94% goes to salaries, a refusal to perform controlled burns or brush removal, allowing the Palisades reservoir to remain bone dry for almost a year, failing to perform routine hydrant maintenance until wildfire season, and diverting record rainfalls last year into the ocean instead of reserves. All this was in an area with an actual season devoted to wildfires and dry winds that happen every stinkin' year. It was mismanagement of resources, not warming.

While you're up on your climate high horse, why don't you let us all know what a safe, desirable atmospheric level of CO2 is. What's the target to be reached to claim victory?

I love the supposed superior intelects denying climate change. They deny their own eyes: An entire US city destroyed by wildfires. Multiple Florida hurricanes intensifying from a Cat 1 to a Cat 5 in hours. Tidal floods in South Florida every year. Massive floods and droughts in Europe and across the globe.

Ah, but don't worry the numb nuts say. It's all happened before. Lol. They're the first ones screaming at the government when their claims aren't paid.

To heck with you and the horse you ran in on.
