The City should NOT be using my tax dollars again. The use of my money for the Edison restaurant was more than I could stand. You are Not a bank with my money. All the extra fees in my electric bill are more than my usage of electricity. This must stop!

For the county and city to be in the housing business, grocery store business..etc..is utterly RIDICULOUS! The more you give, the more they want and expect! Remember when real estate taxes paid for infrastructure and safety (police and fire)? Now it covers CRA..Children’s Council..funds private businesses..Affordable(luxury) housing..
Where did the money that was allocated for Fire Service through property taxes go?

I’m with Frank and Maven on this. Without ownership in this, the place will be trashed in two years, and they will seek more tax dollars to constantly clean it up… in perpetuity.

Oh, an save the Alinsky Semantics game… calling it Ridge Road “Flats” does not change the reality that it’s just another government housing “project” for the lazy and irresponsible.

Taxpayers should not be forced into helping you feel better about yourself or funding the illusion of your standing in life.

Wow, granite countertops, swimming pool, fitness center funded by our tax dollars? How about lowering property taxes so I can afford to upgrade my house? I hope DeSantis is able to make change in advocating for the property taxpayer by moving the homestead exemption up and make local government focus on roads, public safety and development.
