There is no way in hell you can convince me there is less crime today than there was in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s.

I went to Rickards, and I walked to school every day and in 1979 there was no fence around the school, there were no gates or metal detectors, and my mother NEVER worried for a minute that something might happen to me at school.

No one can say that now. Tallahassee is a very dangerous place to live.

So, dummy up with the “crime is trending down”, Steve. Because it’s not.

Maybe property crime REPORTS are down? Because TPD won’t come out to investigate vandalism – you have to self-report it on their CopLogic online site. That discourages victims, and falsely skews the numbers lower.
