Excellent point Mr. Hawkins. Unfortunately, hardly anything done in Leon County or the City of Tallahassee makes commonsense or is logical.

Current example: The new commercial establishments and road change at the intersection of Thomasville and Ox Bottom Roads.

“ Item 12.01 The city commission voted 4-1 to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreements with the Big Bend Chapter of the Florida Police Benevolent Association (PBA). The estimated three-year cost for the wage component of the agreement is $8,927,884, from FY27 through FY29. It is expected that the cost of the wage and pension components for FY27 will be approximately $4.865M. Budgetary impacts for FY27 through FY29 will be reflected in future budget workshops. Commissioner Jack Porter voted no on the agreement.”

Of course she did. Anything in support of Law Enforcement, she is against. I hope people remember this when she is up for reelection.

(MR-1) Medium Density Residential (for 20 Homes per Acre)

WHY IS IT ALWAYS ONE OR THE OTHER? Don’t you have any Zoning Classifications for 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or 10 Homes per Acre? No more than 4 Homes per Acre outside Capital Circle would be ideal. More Land per Home as you go farther out.
