Leon County Commissioner Christian Caban to Appear at NEBA

The Network of Entrepreneurs and Business Advocates (NEBA) will host District 2 Leon County Commissioner Christian Caban at their October 24th lunch meeting.

Commissioner Caban was elected to serve the remaining term of Commissioner Jimbo Jackson, who tragically passed away while in office.

Caban has been in the news recently related to his position on the Airport Gateway project and he has voiced concern about the structure of the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency.

Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and the forum begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Capital City Country Club.

From pollution to rat infestation from a failed drawdown to broken promises, Commissioner Caban has been AWOL . Our group Friends of Lake Munson are advocating for better representation for the community and a scientific not political approach to restoring Lake Munson . A promise long reneged on by the County and City.

Let’s see, the Junior Commissioner has successfully pissed off two major neighborhoods in less than a year on both sides of the political spectrum: health, safety and wefare of residents around Lake Munson and citizens visiting and a Gateway neighborhood concerned about development promises made.

Reasons he gave, REALLY, to Munson residents is he needed to build up political capital. Yet, he blindly accepts staff reports instead of looking at the science, current and historical- shameful!
