Existing Home Sales Increase in March

Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county increased in March by 5.4% when compared to numbers sold in March one year ago. There were 313 single-family home resales in March 2017 and 292 resales in March 2016.

The latest numbers show that annualized rate of sales was 3,097 in March. This is 7.9% above the annual rate of 2,892 reported in March 2016.

The chart below shows that the 12-month and 3-month averages sales price of single-family homes.

The 12-month average sales price in March 2017  was $226,567 – this is a 4.96% increase when compared to the 12-month average reported last March.
