Truist Bank announces new additions to their Tallahassee Community Advisory Board
Truist Bank announced the addition of two new members to its’ Tallahassee Community Advisory Board. The Truist executive leadership team recently voted to approve Kieth Bowers and Nadia Batey to the Tallahassee Board. Keith Bowers is the Regional Director for the Small Business Development Center at FAMU and Nadia Batey is a CPA and partner at James More & Co.
The main goal of this board is to help drive the mission of inspiring and building better lives and communities locally in the Capital City. These new board members are experts in their industry, exhibit high character & integrity, and are aligned with Truist in the overarching goal to make Tallahassee better.
Capital Regional Medical Center Appoints Tara Beth Anderson as Chief Nursing Officer
Capital Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare North Florida Division, announces the appointment of Tara Beth Anderson, APRN, MSN, BSN as Chief Nursing Officer.
“I look forward to working with the team at Capital Regional Medical Center,” said Anderson. “It is an honor to be a part of a facility that is so dedicated to providing this community with high quality, patient-centered care.”
Anderson most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Healthcare’s Frankfort Medical Center, a 173-bed acute care facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. Prior to that, she served as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for HCA Healthcare’s Tulane Health System, Tulane Lakeside, a three-campus, 514-bed academic health system.

Anderson received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certificate from Eastern Kentucky University.
Gina Fletcher Promoted to Assistant Property Appraiser
Leon County Property Appraiser Akin Akinyemi announced the promotion of Gina Fletcher to Assistant Property Appraiser. Gina has been employed in the property appraiser field for more than 30 years and began her career while still in high school, working for the Clay County Property Appraiser. She moved to Leon County in 1996, where we were fortunate to have her join our office.
Gina graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate. She holds multiple designations, including Certified Public Manager (CPM) from the Florida Center for Public Management, Certified Florida Evaluator (CFE) from the Florida Department of Revenue, and Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS) from the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Florida Chapter of IAAO.
Gina most recently served as our Director of Tax Roll Compliance and CAMA. In her new role, she will also be responsible for the administration of the office and serving as the Property Appraiser in his absence.
CRMC Appoints Allison Castillo as VP of Emergency Services
Capital Regional Medical Center recently announced the appointment of Allison Castillo to the position of VP of Emergency Services.
Castillo brings more than 10 years of experience to this role. Allison recently served as the Director of Emergency Services at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, VA where she oversaw a Level I Trauma Center and verified Burn Center. Prior to that, she was the Clinical Manager and Director of Emergency Services at Capital Regional Medical Center.
As Vice President of Emergency Services, Allison will drive operational excellence throughout the service area and lead growth opportunities with development of new programs and advancement of existing ones.
Castillo, a Florida native, holds a bachelor of science in public administration and public policy from Florida State University, an advanced nursing degree from Gulf Coast State College, a masters in nursing leadership from Thomas University, as well as a doctor of nursing practice from Chamberlain University.
