Planting a Refuge for Wildlife

Camp Challenger: Asteroid Academy

What you’ll get: It’s a day dedicated to the exploration of our moon and the several asteroids throughout our solar system. K-5th grade appropriate activities may include flying a simulated space mission, building an edible asteroid, coding and building rovers for the moon and asteroids, and learning about NASA’s latest information being collected on Asteroid Bennu.

What you’ll get: The time is 1959. The place is a seedy bar in Philadelphia. The audience is about to witness one of Billie Holiday’s last performances, given four months before her death.
