Governor Ron DeSantis recently appointed Simone Marstiller and Brent Johnson to the Children’s Services Council of Leon County.

It’s been one year since 12-year-old Lori Paige went missing. She was last seen on Tallahassee’s Northwest side near Ocala Road. Since then, her 13th birthday has come and gone, but the family says there’s still no sign of her. WFSU’s Adrian Andrews spoke with Tallahassee’s Police Chief Lawrence Revell on Monday, the one-year anniversary of Paige’s disappearance.

Five months into 2024the number of crime incidents reported by the Tallahassee Police Department remain down when compared to 2023. However, during the four days after the May 10 storm – when three tornadoes that moved through Tallahassee – property crime spiked, increasing by 50% when compared to the monthly average.

President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign is beefing up its Sunshine State team of political operatives. In a joint announcement with the Florida Democratic Party, the campaign revealed 10 Florida hires, all of whom will be familiar to politicos in the Sunshine State.

Florida’s general revenue collections surpassed expectations by $411.4 million in April, according to the Office of Economic and Demographic Research (EDR), with the state collecting a total of $4.1 billion in revenue for the month.

While Duke Energy and Tampa Electric Co. (TECO) are seeking rate increases and approval from the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC), one of the biggest organizations for senior citizens is pushing back.

U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to sign a sweeping new border measure on Tuesday that would allow authorities to quickly deport or send back to Mexico migrants caught crossing the southwest border if illegal entries surpass a certain level, according to two sources with knowledge of the move.

More than 25 million people across the western US are under heat alerts, as a heat wave is expected to bring dangerously high temperatures from Arizona to the Pacific Northwest this week. Temperatures are expected to reach triple digits in several areas as the intense heat moves northward from drought-stricken Mexico.

Dr. Anthony Fauci—the US’ former top infectious disease officialtestified yesterday before a House subcommittee investigating the origins of COVID-19 and the US government’s response.   2. You do understand that, if you increase the Utility Rate, you will actually almost doubling the increase for the Tax Payers, RIGHT? After all, the Tax Payers will be the ones making up the increased difference for the ones getting the subsidies. Find another way.

    “deport or send back to Mexico migrants caught crossing the southwest border if illegal entries surpass a certain level” ……… SEE, Biden is NOT doing us any favors, his level is, as he stated, is 2500 to 5000 illegals a Day. He WILL NOT close the Border.

    The only Key Takeaway that I got from Fauci’s Trial is, he STILL knows how to LIE.
