On Tuesday, August 13, the Network of Entrepreneurs and Business Advocates held a political forum featuring candidates running for City Commission Seat 1. However, City Commissioner Jack Porter backed out of the event on Monday citing concerns that the forum would not be fair to her.
The latest information from the Tallahassee International Airport shows the July 2024 passenger traffic increased 5.4% when compared to traffic one year ago. The number of passengers was up 4,009 from the 73,600 reported during July 2023 to 77,609 in July 2024.

Florida’s small businesses continue to grapple with persistent inflationary pressures, despite a modest uptick in optimism, according to the latest survey from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
UPSIDE Foods, a California-based company specializing in cultivated meat, filed a federal lawsuit on Monday challenging Florida’s recently enacted law that bans the production, distribution, and sale of cultivated meat in the state. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, argues that the law is unconstitutional and seeks to overturn it.

Perhaps you should take a closer – and realistic – look at the Political Party and People you support.

The “Capital Conservatives” had their Forum last night (6:00pm). Carolyn Cummings declined the invite but David Hawkins for At Large showed up, as did Brian Welch and Isaac Montilla for District 4 were their. You got my Vote David, people liked what you had to say, it was Genuine and Honest. Keep it up. Grace Glass for House District 8 (Leon & Gadsden) was also there. She has my Vote as well.
