The City of Tallahassee has filed a motion to dismiss the amended lawsuit of former Citizens Police Review Board member Taylor Biro. The issue stems from 2022 when Biro was dismissed for allegedly having an anti-police sticker on her cup during the CPRB board meeting. In its new motion, the city contends a judge already decided Biro did not lay out enough of a case for retaliation.

A judge decided Tuesday not to block the City of Tallahassee from enforcing a vacate order on the City Walk Urban Mission, and the homeless shelter could be in danger of shutting its doors.
An appeals court has upheld the 2021 conviction of former Tallahassee businessman J.T. Burnette. In a 53-page opinion, the court rejected all of Burnette’s arguments and upheld guilty verdicts for extortion, bribery and lying to the FBI. Burnette is currently serving a three-year prison sentence. The Bureau of Prisons web site indicates Burnette is currently at a minimum-security prison camp in Montgomery, Alabama with a scheduled release date of February 9, 2024.

At their April 10th meeting, the CSC Leon Executive Committee discussed their existing purchasing policy and establishing a new travel policy. According to staff, the travel policy will be used to authorize and obtain reimbursement of travel expenses for employees of the CSC Leon. The traveler must choose the most economical method of travel for each trip.

Equality Florida and the Florida Immigrant Coalition, along with the NAACP in previous months, have issued an “advisory warning for travel” to Florida. The Florida Immigrant Coalition said that “travel to all areas of Florida should be done with extreme caution as it can be unsafe for people of color, individuals who speak with an accent, and international travelers.” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called it all “a joke.”
A Melbourne Republican has announced he is seeking to primary Florida Sen. Rick Scott. Keith Gross, a lawyer head of Gross Law Group in Melbourne, announced his candidacy on YouTube. An op-ed recently penned by Gross takes aim at Scott for his openness to re-evaluate his position regarding Social Security. Gross is insisting that Social Security is “a return on our investment. Social Security is a promise made to workers by our government and our nation must keep its promises.”

“The traveler must choose the most economical method of travel for each trip.”
I believe that method is walking. Considering the CSC is suppose to concentrate on Leon County, and the city and county have gone “sidewalk crazy,” that method of travel should be the norm. No travel policy required.
Cannontoddler has issues, oh… and is apparently a typical passive aggressive racist Marxicrat. A classic case of someone who eats 90% of their Big Mac and all of the fries, then complains that the Big Mac wasn’t cooked right… and demands a full refund.
So, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis thinks its a joke to create conditions where people dont feel safe….unless it’s something that makes straight whites feel unsafe, nthen he’s all about overreach. Lil NapoleRon is the joke and a hippocrite.
But the joke is ultimately on taxpayers footing the bill for his numerous law suits, his travel (which certainly is presidential campaigning) and paying his buddy to fly TX immigrants to other states.
I’m still disappointed and/or upset that Burnette’s punishment was a 3 year prison sentence.
Some crimes should be punished more harshly than others. His involvement in this violation of public trust and misuse of public money should have been one of them.
“advisory warning for travel”…
Equality Florida and the Florida Immigrant Coalition, along with the NAACP should just leave the State of Florida if it is that bad. We won’t miss your grooming and activism.

News flash to all women:
You are no longer a “protected class” by leftist govornment, media, and people you thought were “like you”.
Witness men attacking women in formerly womens sports and being celebrated by leftist govornment, media, and people you thought were “like you” in your political pursuasion.
Now dear Taylor and other women out there please try to keep up. Its a whole lot more than women’s athletics its a full on attack on women by the left.
Perhaps if Taylor had a ?enis she would have gotten her desired results and still be on the board thumbing her nose at Leon/Tallahassee.
In summation: if you are a traditional woman with a ?agina the left is coming after you. Is Taylor’s pic on Bud Lite cans? No Taylor its not.
The left “left” Taylor and those like her and the poor souls are just now finding out. To the left they are no longer relevant. Perhaps had she played the “I’ve got a girlfriend/wife card it may have taken her to her desired results…maybe. Things are changing fast ladies.
ref: lawsuit of former Citizens Police Review Board <— just another reason the taxpayer does not need a Police Review Board. Biro's attorney must love working for free.
ref: Florida Sen. Rick Scott. Keith Gross, <— I think Florida can do better than Scott. And we could do worse.
ref: “advisory warning for travel” to Florida<—this shows how uneducated and ignorant some people are. If the ignorant and uneducated people were not allowed to vote, Conservatism would flourish.
CSC Travel Policy –
APPROVED – Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Buffalo Pool Party Junket, at taxpayers expense.
They don’t even try to hide it.
Taylor Biro had no case from the start and still doesn’t.
What Travel does the CSC need to do for the CSC since it is a Leon County Group and everyone in it SHOULD be living in Leon County. They shouldn’t be paid for their Time and Gas to drive to and from Work.
