Florida State University’s senior middle blocker Khori Louis played a pivotal role in helping the Seminoles make it to the NCAA National Championship volleyball tournament. Although they lost in the first round to the University of Mississippi in a tight 5th set, Louis had one of her best years regarding stats and awards.
For her team, Khori Louis was 1st in blocks and 2nd in kills, behind teammate Audrey Koenig. She had 349 kills and 63 errors on a total of 665 attempts. This results in an impressive .430 hitting percentage, which ranks as the best hitting percentage in the ACC this year.
Defensively, Louis had 133 blocks with only 8 errors.
Some of her other accolades from the 2024-2025 season include making All-ACC First Team for the second year in a row and getting awarded the AVCA/GameChanger National player of the Week for her performances against Georgia Tech and Clemson on Nov. 22 and Nov. 24, respectively. During the Clemson game, Louis led her team with 20 kills and 5 blocks to help secure the 5th set win over the tigers.
During her high school career at Florida High, Louis played 2 years on varsity leading the team in kills and blocks her senior year. She helped FSUHS make the regional finals in 2019-2020 season. She finished her high school career with 482 kills and 86 solo blocks.
