The annual Point in Time Count of those who are unsheltered is underway in Leon County. Volunteers are assisting teams visiting areas where those who lack housing may be staying.

The US will apply broad 25% tariffs on all imports from Canada and Mexico and an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods following an executive order from President Donald Trump signed Saturday.   1. And, the city and county do nothing to help these people get the help they need to get back on their feet. All the local politicians do is talk about it. Very sad situation.

  2. I counted one homeless doing Tai chi and surfing on the corner of cap circle and apalachee this afternoon.

    Another one yelling at cars on park Ave regularly.

    And A bunch of them littering throughout the forest next to governors park.

And the more of them, the greater the number that can be driven to polling places by Democrats and Progressives to vote for Democrats and Progressives to continue the federal dollars to “address” the problem. I’ll just bet that working for a living by filling the scads of open job opportunities would work much more effectively.

    Democrats and Progressives see homelessness and an integral part of the local economic model. The more homeless you have, the more federal tax dollars you get to “address” the problem.
