LOCAL NEWS

The Kearney Center, Tallahassee’s primary homeless shelter, will start charging some residents for their stay in the face of budget cuts and a growing number of long-term residents.

Village Square, in partnership with the Tallahassee Democrat, WFSU Public Media, and Leadership Tallahassee, will host its 13th annual Town Hall meeting with City of Tallahassee and Leon County Commissioners. The event is slated for Thursday, May 1 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the WFSU Studios.

A special House committee will begin hearings this week to consider possible alternatives for asking Florida voters to cut property taxes.

  1. ALL but Porter will be at the 13th annual Village Square Town Hall, I wonder what she’s afraid of?

    A statewide study on how Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are expected to reshape the state’s industries and workforce. Check in with Disney and the other Theme Parks since they have been using that stuff for Years and improving it every Year. Then do your Studies at all the Shipping Ports we have and then at the Airports. Maybe even the Bus and Train Depots.
