The Tallahassee Police Department is currently conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting that occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday in the 1600 block of Stuckey Ave.

FLORIDA NEWS

Out-of-state students attending Florida universities could see a 10 percent increase in tuition this fall and an additional hike the following school year, under a rule unanimously adopted by the state university system’s Board of Governors on Wednesday.

Miami’s city commissioners voted Tuesday to enter into an agreement with the federal government authorizing local police to act as immigration enforcement officials. The 3-2 vote followed that of other major Democratic cities in the state, such as Orlando and Jacksonville, which have already agreed to collaborate with federal officials in street-level immigration enforcement operations.

    Miami, Jacksonville, and Orlando governments cooperate with ICE.
    Surely, the Capital City of Florida is cooperating.
