Over the last few years Tallahassee Reports has made an effort to expand our news coverage to include local sports. As the local media landscape continues to evolve and legacy media outlets make cuts, we saw an opportunity to fill a void.
We feel that covering sports – with an emphasis on high school – fits with our mission as a community newspaper. In addition, celebrating athletes and teams is a way to bring the community together.
This fall we have made effort to continue to expand our coverage, and, in some cases, we were the only outlet to cover a number of sporting events. See below.
We would like to continue to expand our coverage, but we need your help.
Our immediate need is advertisers to sponsor the sports pages in TR’s print edition. We distribute over 10,000 print newspapers each month with a sports section. Advertising prices start as low as $150 per month. Please give Kathy Stewart a call at 850-766-6208 for more details.
