Sales of existing single-family homes in January increased by 6.5% when compared to numbers sold in January one year ago. There were 163 single-family home resales in January 2017 and 153 resales in January 2016.
The latest numbers show that annualized rate of sales was 3,055 in January. That is 7.2% above the annual rate of 2,850 reported in January 2016.

The chart below shows that the 12-month and 3-month averages sales price of single-family homes is approximately $225,000.
One year ago the 12-month average sales price was $217,000 – that is a 3.9% increase when compared to the latest numbers reported for January.
