PlayBig Opens Marianna Facility

PlayBig Therapy Center opened its second facility Oct. 9 in Marianna to expand its ability to treat Panhandle children with autism, ADHD and other neurological conditions.

Kelley Hutto, a licensed Physical Therapist and co-owner/founder of PlayBig said PlayBig Therapy Center in Tallahassee was drawing clients from Chipley, Bonifay and Marianna. Her husband, Mike, a co-founder of PlayBig, is from Marianna, so it seemed natural to open another facility there.

The new 11,000 sq. ft. facility, at 4540 Lafayette St., Suite C, provides therapy on Monday through Friday. This multispecialty pediatric facility offers neuroplasticity-based therapy for children with neurodevelopmental and related disorders.

On the weekends PlayBig becomes a recreation zone for all children.

“Our indoor play gyms are fully equipped with swings, trampolines, crash pads, rock wall, climbing structures and giant blocks for a fun, activity-filled experience for everyone. OpenGym invites all kids to play with peers while Play Coaches ensure a safe play environment and facilitate moving, engaging and connecting,” said Hutto.

Its Party & Play program offers children its indoor playground for birthday parties and other celebrations. With the ability to accommodate both small and large parties, PlayBig has already booked events through January.

On Dec. 2, PlayBig Marianna hosts a community open house, complete with food trucks, snow cones, bounce houses, gym tours and much more.

This is amazing. I am thrilled to have this facility in our community. I look forward to seeing it with my grandchildren.
