FloridaPolitics.com has recently reported on comments made by Mayor Andrew Gillum on The Breakfast Club, a popular radio show that “enjoys a premium throne in the realm of hip-hop media.”
The show is syndicated throughout the country and airs in 50-plus U.S. markets, including Florida stations in Miami, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Central Florida, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Pensacola.
The report included this passage:
The Tallahassee mayor went through the whole gamut, talking education, voting rights restoration, marijuana legalization and immigration reform. He also discussed the election of President Donald Trump, hypothesizing it has “awoken a giant in a lot of people who previously thought ‘maybe my vote doesn’t matter maybe [politicians] are all just alike.’”
Then, before a national audience, Gillum continued, “We now have a president that is unabashedly racist.
Would we not be better off if we were to rewrite elections law to allow for OPEN PRIMARIES?
It seems to me that it would be a very helpful tool for 'draining the swamp."
PLEASE. SOMEONE RUN FOR GOVERNOR AS A DEMOCRAT.
we need real democrats not ..........Gwen Graham, Philip Levine, Thomas Christopher King or even Andrew Gillum, sorry ....if these are the choices come August 28, 2018...........I will not waste the $ to mail my ballot in from our summer home in Tecumseh, Michigan..............and when November 6, 2018 gets here I will not vote for the nominee if someone else does not attempt to beat the Honorable Republican.

He only had 5000 votes to be Mayor of Miami Beach, Gwen Graham has already lived in the Governor's Mansion and has too conservative ideas to be a democrat.
