Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were down 7.5% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 332 single-family home resales in August 2019 and 307 resales in August 2020. Last month there were 317 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in August 2020 increased 8.4% from $266,323 last year to $288,718.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,132 in August. The August annual rate of sales is 2.8% above the annual rate of 3,046 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last month was 3,157.
