Weekly Report: Leon COVID Trends Slightly Up, Positivity Rate Still Below 4%

TR’s weekly report (October 25-November 1) on Leon County COVID cases, hospitalizations, and testing positivity rates is detailed below.

The weekly report, ending November 1st, shows an increase in all three measures when compared to the seven day average one week ago.

However, the positivity rate was still below 4% for the week based on over 13,000 tests.

The Numbers

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 50 cases on October 25th to 63 cases on November 1st, a 26.0% increase.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 38 on October 25th to 43 on November 1st, a 13.2% increase.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 3.00% on October 25th and 3.18% on November 1st, a 6.0% increase.

The positivity rate has been below 5% for 35 consecutive days.
