The weekly report, ending December 27th, shows increases in new cases, positivity rate and hospitalizations.

The Numbers

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 131 cases on December 20th to 133 cases on December 27th, a 1.5% increase.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 57 on December 20th to 69 on December 27th, a 21.1% increase.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 5.86% on December 20th to 6.27% on December 27th, a 7.0% increase.

  1. TR can one of the extra positivity percent charts be dropped and number of weekly deaths inserted to give articles more credence?

  3. Does anybody know if the hospitalization numbers count persons hospitalized because of Covid or persons hospitalized that happen to test positive for Covid?
