Weekly Report Ending May 16th: Cases, Positivity Down, Hospitalizations Flat

The weekly COVID report, ending May 16th, shows decreases in cases and the positivity rate while hospitalizations remained relatively flat.

The Numbers

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 52.8 cases on May 9th to 37.8 cases on May 16th, a 28.4% decrease.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 25.8 on May 9th to 26.3 reported on May 16th, a 1.9% increase.

The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 6.1% on May 9th to 4.8% on May 16th, a 21.3% decrease.
