High School Sports: Lincoln, Chiles Football Win

On Friday Oct. 6 the Chiles Timberwolves beat the Crestview Bulldogs on the road 35-0. Chiles’s QB, Taylor Jacobs, completed 10 out of 13 passes for 110 yards with 3 touchdown passes to Jake Atwood, Trevor Jacobs and Ryan Sumner. Taylor Jacobs and BB Potter both had a rushing touchdown. The Timberwolves’ defense was led by Bryson Floyd with 17 tackles. 

The North Florida Christian Eagles beat the FAMU Baby Rattlers 51-0. The Eagles QB, JP Pickles, completed 9 out 10 passes for 144 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Pickles also rushed for 58 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.  

In other action, the Lincoln Trojans won at home against the Leon Lions 42-0. The Wakulla War Eagles beat the St. John Paul II Panthers 45-0. The Godby Cougars won against the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 43-6.

On the volleyball court, on Tuesday Oct. 3 the Florida High Seminoles beat the Lincoln Trojans in five set match, 3-2. The Seminoles were led by Kenzie Hultquist (21 kills, 4 aces) and Eva Goodson (16 kills, 41 digs).

In other Tuesday action, the Chiles Timberwolves beat the Valdosta Wildcats 3-0. The Rickards raiders won against the North Florida Christian Eagles 3-0, The FAMU Baby Rattlers beat the Community Christian Chargers 3-0. The Liberty County Bulldogs beat the St. John Paul II Panthers 3-1. The Leon Lions beat the Sneads Pirates 3-0 and the Godby Cougars beat the Munroe Bobcats 3-1.

On Wednesday Oct. 4 the Florida High Seminoles beat the Maclay Marauders 3-0.

On Thursday Oct. 5 the Florida High Seminoles beat the Tampa Prep Terrapins 3-1. The Leon Lions beat the Lincoln Trojans 3-1. The Godby Cougars beat the FAMU Baby Rattlers 3-0. The St. John Paul II Panthers beat the Marianna Bulldogs 3-0. The Rickards Raiders beat the Franklin County Seahawks 3-0 and the North Florida Christian Eagles beat the Thomasville Bulldogs 3-0.
