  1. Dawson would be a horrible hire. Detrimental to the progress of our city. She openly rejects Florida’s Sunshine Laws and bullies and talks down to those who disagree with her. #AnyoneButDawson

  2. It’s not who is “better qualified” but who knows where the sketons are hidden within BP. Very likely, Dawson goes to the City and Toman demoted to BP, only to serve for a short time then retire.

  3. Susan Dawson – isn’t she the same person who “…has spent the past five years as Attorney for the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency?” Also the same person some members of Blueprint have complained about and have openly voiced criticism of?

Let’s see how this might play out. Move Dawson over to fill the open City Attorney position to get her out of Blueprint. City Attorney open position filled.

Move Toman over to Blueprint so she won’t be mad about being passed over for the promotion to City Attorney. Blueprint attorney problem solved.

The “fix” is in folks. That’s how we do things in corrupt Tallahassee.

  4. No doubt it will be a leftist DEI hire, and after much damage is done, we will go around this mountain again in less than two years.

  5. Amy Toman has been the Tallahassee Deputy City Attorney for the past 6 Years, has been acting City Attorney since this past November and she has also spent over five years as Executive Director of the Florida Elections Commission. SO, tell me, why wasn’t she promoted to City Attorney and your not looking for a new Deputy City Attorney? According to this article, Amy Toman is better qualified then the other three Candidates.
