December Airport Traffic Up 14.1%

The latest information from the Tallahassee International Airport shows that December 2023 passenger traffic increased 14.1% when compared to traffic one year ago. The number of passengers was up 9,169 from the 64,864 reported during December 2023 to 74,033 in December 2023.

Relative to 2022, the Passenger Traffic Report shows passenger counts were up 22.6% for American Airlines, up 6.4% for the Delta Group and down 4.5% for Silver Airways.

The graph below shows the annualized number of passengers for the last 37-months. The highlighted numbers on the graph indicate the annual traffic during the month of December over the last four years.

The annual rate of passengers at TIA in December 2023 – 855,021 – was up 4.2% when compared to one year ago. The annualized number of passengers is calculated by summing the previous 12 months of traffic.
