Village Square Opens 18th Season with Film Screening of “UNDIVIDE US”

The Village Square and The James Madison Institute recently announced a screening of the award-winning documentary “UNDIVIDE US.” The event will feature special guest Ben Klutsey, one of the stars of the film, and its director, Kristi Kendall.

The free screening will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee IMAX Theater. Doors will open at 5:30 PM for a pre-screening reception and the film will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

The press released noted that “America is at a crossroads where politicians, traditional media, and social media fan the flames of toxic partisanship that have led many Americans to question whether they can trust their fellow citizens. “UNDIVIDE US” stands as a beacon of hope and a call to action. Through the intimate lens of six focus groups across three American cities, the film explores the twisted landscape of toxic polarization, revealing how it drives us to fundamentally un-American places.”

“Human, accessible, beautiful, and profound. If you’re ready to move past our toxic polarization—or you just want to feel better about your fellow Americans– ‘UNDIVIDE US’ will light your way,” says Liz Joyner, Founder and CEO of The Village Square.

  1. Go to St. Marks if you want to feel better about your fellow Americans. Watching a propaganda piece about the current cultural climate ain’t gonna do it for most of us.

  2. The Big Divide is keeping our Republic vs going Communist/Socialist. This Cultural Marxist philosophy has been increasing since 1929 and we need to get that message out.
