Voters Approve City Charter Amendments, Including Pay Raise

City voters approved all five of the city charter amendments placed on the ballot by the Tallahassee city commission. The most controversial issue, pay raises for city commissioners, passed with 56% of the vote. Now city commissioners will be paid the same salary as Leon County commissioners – $90,000.

We voted to take money directly out of our pockets and put it in the pockets of the Commissioners. The gall it must take to ask for a 100% raise when EVERYBODY is hurting..

Tallahassee isn't most of America. I've never been in a city that was most of America

This is why Donald Trump was re-elected as our President. In most of America, people are tired of politicians getting exorbitant raises for underperforming in a part time job. There must be something in the water here...

    Viva la Trump!!!!
