City voters approved all five of the city charter amendments placed on the ballot by the Tallahassee city commission. The most controversial issue, pay raises for city commissioners, passed with 56% of the vote. Now city commissioners will be paid the same salary as Leon County commissioners – $90,000.
Such a corrupt bunch of fools run this city and many dummies vote for them. Any chance to change or should we just get the heck our??
We voted to take money directly out of our pockets and put it in the pockets of the Commissioners. The gall it must take to ask for a 100% raise when EVERYBODY is hurting..
