The Tallahassee Police Department recently provided a synopsis of a robbery which resulted in a homicide. The incident took place on Saturday, August 16 at 11:30 p.m. at the Leon Arms Apartments. Leon Arms is a family low-income housing apartment subsidized by the federal governments Housing and Urban Development Division.
According to TPD, on August 16, at approximately 11:30 p.m. an individual made a 911 call stating a person had been robbed and shot inside an apartment at the Leon Arms Apartment complex. When officers arrived on scene, they located one juvenile male deceased. During the initial investigation three juveniles were detained. Two of them were released. The third juvenile was taken into custody on charges unrelated to the homicide.
The TPD release stated there were no known suspects.
