TPD reports that a suspect in a violent attack at Casacades Park is dead.
TPD reported Wednesday evening that an investigation was underway following a stabbing that occurred at approximately 7:39 p.m. at Cascades Park. The report stated that two victims, adult females, were stabbed and were in stable condition at a local hospital.
The suspect remained at large for a time while officials searched the area. However, TPD reported that the “suspect has been located deceased and positively identified.”
The suspect, who has not yet been publicly named, was found dead sometime after midnight Thursday. According to TPD, the individual was armed with a “cutting knife.”
