LOCAL NEWS

On October 23rd, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board will consider funding $5,000,000 for the Meridian Street Pedestrian and Street Safety (PASS) Project. 

Leon County crews are removing fencing and walls at the Washington Square construction site starting Monday night. The closure is set to impact the streets in the area through Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

FLORIDA NEWS

An average gallon of gas in Florida reached a nearly two-year low over the weekend, according to the AAA auto club.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem came to the Tampa Bay area on Monday, where she praised the partnership between the federal government and Florida law enforcement agencies in cracking down on undocumented immigration.

A failure in Amazon’s cloud computing infrastructure knocked more than a thousand websites and apps offline for hours yesterday morning, with reports of spotty service persisting throughout the day.
