Miami Republicans Denounce Local GOP Group’s Racist Chats

By The News Service of Florida

Following reports of the racist chat group involving Miami-Dade County Republican Party members, including the group’s secretary, Abel Carvajal, elected GOP lawmakers are denouncing the group and calling for their ouster from the party.

The chats, reported Wednesday by the Miami Herald and The Floridian, a conservative online outlet, contained hundreds of uses of the n-word and many other instances of antisemitic slurs, replete with references to Nazi Germany.

“Antisemitism and racism have no place in our society. We strongly condemn and find despicable the vile and unacceptable language that has been discovered in a group chat associated with the Miami Dade County’s Republican Party Secretary,” a joint statement from Sens. Ana Maria Rodriguez, Ileana Garcia and Alexis Calatayud reads. “The statements made by those individuals clarify their moral and intellectual corruption and demonstrate a complete misalignment with core, shared American values.”

“We call for the resignation of the Secretary, immediately. We call for the immediate expulsion of the individuals disseminating from any level of leadership of the Miami-Dade Republican Party,” the statement continued.

Calatayud sponsored a bill that set up an antisemitism task force that passed through the Senate this week.

Rep. Juan Porras, R-Miami, a state committeeman for the Miami-Dade GOP, also condemned the chat group and called for Carvajal’s resignation.

“Republicans hold ourselves accountable. When someone in our ranks crosses the line, we address it directly. We do not excuse it. We do not ignore it,” Porras stated.

Nobody can show you where the DNC is denouncing racism because it's the core platform.

Any time you tell people they have to expect tomatoes and clean toilets to cost more if we get rid of immigrants, you're being a racist who thinks illegal immigrants are the only way to get tomatoes and clean potties. It's inherently racist and a primary argument against enforcing the immigration laws of this country.

Any time you tell people that voter ID is keeping minorities from the polls, you're telling people that you think they're too dumb to get a proper ID.

Any time you tell people that minorities have to receive preferential treatment instead of being capable of earning college admissions or job roles based on merit, you are being a racist.

Any time you tell people they cannot eat at a Mexican restaurant because you support enforcing our country's immigration laws, you're being a racist assuming that your food is only being prepared by low-earning illegal immigrants who aren't capable of anything greater than serving you refried beans.

EVERYTHING about the democratic party is racist all the way back to their defence of slave states during the civil war.

"Aren’t the democrats the ones who think black people are too dumb to get proper government IDs?"

    Whoooooooshh!

(You are supposed to say that on a private chat)

    @Edward Lyle -

"see, I can do that too, sweetheart"

What you cannot do, however, is point to a Democrat leader having a chat board where it is immediately full of super racist comments. This isn't a one off. The Young Republican National Federation had *the same thing happen*.

But. I am willing to be convinced that 'both sides are the same'. Why not show me an article where democrats are 'denouncing' local DNC racist chats? I'll wait!

I, for one, am shocked that Democrat chat groups have always been full of racists. One thing is sure, I’m sure this will lead the entire Democrat party to continue to push the *important* issues, like drag queens, supporting pedophiles and terrorists, funding illegal aliens, and finding more ways to illegally funnel tax dollars to their candidates via Somali "Learing" Centers.

... see, I can do that too, sweetheart

I, for one, am shocked that a Republican chat group would be full of racists. One thing is sure, I'm sure this will lead the Florida Republican party to move onto the *important* issues, like drag queens, eliminating watering stations for migrant workers, and finding more ways to funnel tax dollars to Doodie Calls.
